We heat-treat and hand-finish every blade in-house, batch by batch, so each one leaves the shop within tolerance — not close to it. It's slower than mass production. We think that's the point.
Every knife is tested for edge retention, tang strength and lock durability before it ever reaches a sheath.

Yes. Every Lowcountry knife is backed by our Sharpness Guarantee. If your knife does not arrive with a satisfactory keen edge right out of the box, send it back and we’ll replace it.
With regular use, every knife will eventually need sharpening. Our knives are designed with practical steels that can be restored to a sharp edge without excessive difficulty, allowing you to keep your knife working for years.
